Near about of mega pixel of human eye is 575 MP….

So the megapixel equivalent numbers below refer to the spatial detail in an image that would be required to show what the human eye could see when you view a scene.

90 degrees * 60 arc-minutes/degree * 1/0.3 * 90 * 60 * 1/0.3

= 324,000,000 pixels (324 megapixels). 120 * 120 * 60 * 60 / (0.3 * 0.3)

= 576 megapixels.

Human eye has ‘Cones’ and ‘Rods’. Rods detects mono chrom and cone is responsible for colour. The 576 Megapixel are distributed among 5 million cones 100 million rods. Total resolution is 576 Megapixal.

Interestingly, men have more rods and women have more cones. Hence, ladies have colour brightness as compare to men however they can’t see comparatively well in darkness
