    Roopam is best known for his work on Manovue [MANOVUE], which is the world’s first intelligent personal assisting system for the visually impaired.

    It’s an inexpensive technology that does 3 main things: it enables the user to read printed text by simply pointing over the text. 2. It helps them to navigate freely outside well known environment through haptic feedback and 3. It comes with a completely voice controlled mobile phone application and enables the user to use his phone only through his voice. Manovue brings employability, Independance and Empowerment to the visually impaired and is meant to replace the braille language, the cane and will open up the smartphone market to the visually impaired. Manovue was awarded as the winner of the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2015 and Yahoo Accenture Innovation Jockeys season 4.

    He was recently listed on the MIT Tech Review 35 under 35 list .

    He innovates for the betterment of the society and is currently solving the society’s biggest problems by making the use of technology. By creating a way for the visually impaired to read printed data , he can literally replace Braille language.

    Roopam was recently awarded the Gifted Citizen Prize 2016 and has been listed as one of the top 8 Innovators Under 35 by the MIT Technology Review for the year 2016 in India.

    This was his introduction. Now , coming to the later part of your question , why do people compare him to Elon Musk ?

    Elon Musk is currently busy in solving issues regarding betterment of mankind. ( By creating and promoting clean source of energy cars ). Roopam Sharma too , not a billionaire though , is putting his time to resolve issues regarding betterment of mankind by creating a way for the visually impaired to read print.

    A shallow copy simply creates a new object and inserts in it references to the members of the original object. A deep copy constructs a new object and then creates in it copies of each of the members of the original object.

    Memory is allocated in C using malloc() and freed using free(). In C++ the new() operator is used to allocate memory to an object and the delete() operator is used to free the memory taken up by an object.
